Jacqueline Fernandez, who began her Bollywood career a decade ago, has come a long way. From romancing bigwigs like Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar on the big screen to gearing up for her first Netflix film (Mrs Serial Killer), Jacqueline is doing it all with elan. In an exclusive interview with Harper’s Bazaar India, Jacqueline Fernandez opened up on her acting dreams.
When asked about the moment she decided to be an actress, Jacqueline said, “I was seven years old, I think I was watching Gone With the Wind, and I just knew that I wanted to be that actress. I wanted to be Vivien Leigh.”
And a few years later, she did make her dream come true when she made her Bollywood debut with Aladdin in 2009.
In the last one decade, Jacqueline has been a part of many interesting projects.
Talking about the best thing about being a woman in cinema today, the 33-year-old actress said, “The roles just keep getting stronger.”
Jacqueline, who is currently shooting for Shirish Kunder’s Netflix film Mrs Serial Killer, talked about a ritual that she follows before the start of any project.
“Usually before my first day on any film set, I start keeping a journal. It’s fun to embark on that journey with it and later read what I’ve written,” said the actress.
On the work front, Jacqueline is awaiting the release of Drive.
